Texas Hold'em Poker is one of the most popular variations of the card game which is Poker. It involves two cards to begin, known as the 'Hole Cards', which are dealt to each player around the table. Once each player has received their two cards, they will use these to create the best 5-card combination using the cards that are progressively shown to all players in the centre of the table, otherwise known as the 'Community Cards'. Player Psychology, strategy and probabilities make this a great game for all guests to enjoy!

Starting Cards and Initial Bets
Texas Hold'em Poker is played with one 52 deck of cards. The action often moves around the table in a clockwise direction and can include up to 10 players at once per table.
To begin the game, each player is dealt two cards face down – these are called your 'hole cards'. Check out your cards and decide whether to Check, Bet or Fold. This stage of the game is known as pre-flop and what you should do is dependent on those hole cards. This is the basic strategy depending on your starting 'hole cards'.

If you chose to Bet or Check, you will still be in the game. You will be aiming to create the best hand you possible can using the community cards revealed in the centre of the table. The first three cards revealed are known as the flop, these are shown once the betting round is finished. After this, there is another round of betting, once complete the fourth card known as the 'turn' is shown in the centre of the table. The same again then happens for the final card, known as the 'river'.
